Timeline Event:

Nov 15, 1942

Five Sullivan brothers were killed when the cruiser Juneau was sunk off Guadalcanal. They had enlisted together in Waterloo, Iowa, only eleven months before. 'The Sullivans', a destroyer, was named in their honor in April, 1943.
